Today I am reviewing the very popular Patanjali Dant Kanti Toothpaste. Yeah.. yeah, its associated with Ramdev Baba and the humdrum around his FMCG Brand- Patanjali. Amidst all the noise with linked keywords like Propaganda, Yoga, Marketing gimmick, Ayurveda, Politics, Nepotism etc etc one cannot deny the fact that Patanjali rose to a Rs. 5,000-crore company in less than a decade, due to which other MNCs have been forced to shift focus on Ayurveda too. I have also mentioned this in the Ultra Blends post here. Hypothetically even if the associated keywords are true, the renewed interest in natural ingredients is a definite good thing! To be honest I would have never tried Dant Kanti but my Dentist recommended it!

Romance Scam
Internet savvy people are well aware of the online Nigerian scams. They are of various kinds, the 419 scam, where they offer to transfer a lot of money into your bank account, or the lottery scam, where they tell you that you’ve won something in some phony lottery etc. But in a dating scam (also known as romance scam), besides just asking for money the scammers build a bogus persona complete with an attractive image to trap unsuspecting victims.
Shalocks Hair Oil – an unexpected winner!
I have never been a fan of oiling my hair. For a large part of my life I went without ever oiling my hair, which gradually had its repercussion and so began the quest of finding an oil that was more than just a colossal pain to wash off. I came across this one only by chance when the shopkeeper of a very busy wholesale beauty supply store pushed it on me. I almost didn’t buy it because of its price but my doting Ma bought it for me. Perhaps she thought maybe this will get her daughter to oil her hair, and it definitely did!
Chanel 2.55
Today I am taking a look at yet another iconic piece of design, fashion design to be accurate. Amongst the many fields of Design, fashion is very popular and easily understood by laymen. Especially in India if you say ” I am a Designer”, majority will think “Haan kapde silti hogi” (must be sewing clothes), and assume you are a Fashion Designer. For this (amongst other) reason designers from other design disciplines tend to take fashion design with a pinch of salt. But like any other field of design be it Industrial or Furniture, Fashion Design also has the same core values and the final outcome is a reflection of the designer and their inspiration. Of course the Form vs. Function debate is also very valid in the field of Fashion Design. So today I am taking a look at one such piece of iconic design that was born out of necessity and went on to become an icon in the world of Fashion Design – The Chanel 2.55 Handbag.
