I know I am late to this party because Vaseline launched their spray moisturizers in India last winter and globally a little before that. So obviously there were sponsored posts about it literally everywhere. Sponsored blog features, PR Kits and tonnes of ad space hasn’t ever proven helpful for me so I stopped trusting those long ago and decided not to buy this one! But this winter Ms. Super Consumer gifted me the Coco Radiant variety of the Vaseline Intensive Care Spray Moisturizer, so I gave it a shot and to be honest it has surprised me!
Cost:
380 INR for 190 ml (reduced to 285 INR on most e-tailers now since its been a year)

Product Claims:
It is a quick-absorbing and convenient spray lotion that takes seconds to help your skin get ready! This continuous spray is designed for easy application and for an even, all-over coverage. The unique formula is infused with goodness of Cocoa and micro-droplets of Vaseline- Jelly and leaves skin soft and non greasy.
- Fast absorbing moisturizer.
- 360 degree continuous spray motion.
- Even application and a non-messy experience.
- Convenient twist-lock mechanism.
- Leaves skin instantly soft & non-greasy.
In this product the packaging is what we are paying for! It comes in a pressurized metal spray can and it works perfectly. The spray mechanism is pretty neat! With a little practice one can regulate the pressure to get a super fine mist to a big blob of product. The spray is continuous so one can keep going as long as they want or stop exactly when needed. It also comes in handy to hydrate those hard-to-reach areas like the back. Also a really good feature is the locking mechanism which makes it travel friendly and protects it from accidentally sprays.
The fragrance is the typical Coco Butter scent, which I don’t quite enjoy but a lot of folks do! If you are like me take solace in the fact that since the moisturizer is so light, the scent also settles and becomes less intense with time.
The product has a super thin and runny consistency, therefore it works wonderfully with a spray can. Its lightweight and not heavy or greasy at all. I spray this after a shower , quick rub and legit it gets absorbed in a minute! I can immediately get dressed and save a tonne of time in the morning!
Also I discovered an interesting hack using this product. During the winter my scalp becomes dry and painful so I use this spray lightly on the scalp after shampoo, since its so light it absorbs quickly and doesn’t make the hair oily. If you try this remember less is more!
The thin consistency does have an impact on it efficacy though i.e if you have dry – very dry skin type or live in places with harsh winters, this is not going to be very effective. But if you have normal skin and live in places with hot-humid climate like Mumbai/ Pune you will enjoy using this.
This review will be incomplete if I don’t discuss whether this is a Value for Money purchase. So we are paying 380 INR for 190 ml of product in a spray can which is not very moisturizing but saves a lot of time. If we were to buy the lotion which is thicker & moisturizing but doesn’t absorb as quickly and comes with a pump package we pay 285 INR on 300 ml. As evident, it is a trade-off, where we get lesser quantity of product but pay more for the convenience!
Pros:
- Convenient
- Quick Absorbing
Cons:
- Expensive
- Not very hydrating
- Contains Dimithicone & Parabens.
- Will not work for all skin types
Closing Thoughts:
If you would rather sleep in the morning for 10 extra minutes than spend that time moisturizing, this is for you! Ideally, we should be moisturizing everyday and the best time to do this is right after the shower because some of the water gets trapped on the skin to help keep it hydrated. To be honest I am often guilty of not doing this because I don’t have enough time to wait for the skin to absorb the product before getting dressed each morning but this product targets exactly this problem! It is expensive no doubt but one needs to decide whether they are willing to shell out the extra bucks for the small convenience this offers!
Have you tried this or any other spray moisturizers yet? I would love to know your experience in the comments.
I had no idea Vaseline has this in spray form! That’s really awesome and convenient. It’s definitely perfect for the winter and I like that you can carry it in your bag without worrying about it spilling. Definitely something that I could use.
Carol, do let me know what you think of it if you pick it up <3
I didn’t know they made a spray moisturizer ! Definitely looks promising and not greasy!
Definitely not greasy! 🙂
I didn’t know this came in spray form. I totally love how convenient this is! I’m going to look for this at Target….
Glad that you like it, let me know your experience with it 🙂
Wow.. I didn’t realize that this came in a spray bottle! I love it. I think the next time I am at the pharmacy, I will have to go get some!
Wow ! I really thought this was advertised like crazy globally! But do let me know what you thought of it when you try it 🙂
I have yet to try spray moisturizers but this looks really interesting. I like how it can reach the awkward angles and that it’s at a good price point
Let me know what you think of it! <3
I am a huge fan of Vaseline products and the spray seems like the perfect addition. It leaves you feeling soft and moisturized, love it!
Good to know that you loved this product!
Great review post. I had no idea that Vaseline made a spray moisturizers.
Oh is it! Where are you located?
I thought Vaseline spent enough money advertising this globally!
😀 Lazy’s of the world uniting here !! High Five <3
I amazed at how all of us have such varying taste for fragrance. I am sure you will like this one then! 🙂
Sukriti, you need to change things up… both of them contain parabens so not a good idea to commit to it for year at end. Try a body oil maybe !
I have used many different Vaseline product lines. I am currently using the moisturizer you are introducing. It really makes my skin soft and white. I advise everyone to try it!
I honestly never liked the thought of spray on lotion. I do sunscreen but I still prefer the good ole rub in lotion. This is a great review of this product, the cons definitely outweigh the pros. Thanks for sharing.
