Nourish Mantra | Brand Review

Nourish Mantra – a relatively new Indian brand that also retails in the USA (which means their formulations abide by stricter rules as compared to ones that retail in India only). The brand believes in “Slow Beauty” and claims to be on a mission to modernize traditional Indian beauty philosophies making them relevant. The products are claimed to be 100% vegan, cruelty-free and created with ethically sourced ingredients which IMO is wonderful.

Nourish Mantra generously gifted these products for me to try and safe to say I quite liked most of what they had to offer. They did send these to me quite a while back and since I have finished using most. I took a very long break from writing reviews and from the up-keep of my page due to various reasons, but I intend to do better now so please bear with me. After such a long break I thought I should start with a brand that has surely & steadily impressed me with not just their products but with their brand philosophy.

Ratrani Moroccan Lava Clay Cleanser

This is the first product I tried and the gorgeous Raat Rani scent blew me away!

Price: 675 INR | Net Content: 70 ml / 2.36 fl oz | Buy Online: Here

The product is formulated with Moroccan Lava Clay, French Red Clay, and Activated Charcoal due to which I believe it does a great job of cleansing the skin. At the same time it also contains Licorice Extracts and Vitamin E that help nourish the skin, leaving the face cleansed but not dry.

Due to its texture it takes a little time to work it into a foam which inadvertently makes you massage your face and what a lovely way to cleanse while also help with circulation. The scent of Licorice & Raat Rani is invigorating and fresh without being overwhelming which is the highlight of this product for me. Its beautiful natural fragrance makes me look forward to using this and that’s a big win for any product.

I believe this is an excellent cleanser for Normal – Oily Skin types but the folks with dry skin might want to test this first because clay’s are known to be slightly drying.

Saatvik Moringa Facial Moisturizer with SPF

A moisturizing cream with a fabulous ingredient list + SPF – what’s not to like!

Price: 1295 INR | Net Content: 50 ml / 1.69 fl oz | Buy Online: Here

This cream is RICH – right from its packaging to its texture and a price tag to go with it. It is formulated with Moringa, Indian Ginseng and Gotu Kola, all known for their therapeutic qualities. It also features Shea Butter, Coconut, Wheatgerm and Patchouli Oil at the very top of the ingredient list adding to its hydrating prowess. Also let’s not forget the SPF – which I greatly appreciate.

This one does contain a little bit of added fragrance but the over all scent is soothing and does not overwhelm the senses. The texture is thick and very creamy; making it ideal for dry to normal skin and folks like me who have combination to oily skin type – might want to use this one during the cooler dryer months of winter.

Mystic Indian Rose Body Lotion

An absolute sensory experience – this one!

Price: 695 INR | Net Content: 100 ml / 3.38 fl oz | Buy Online: Here

It’s not often that herbal ayurvedic fragrances catch my attention, but Nourish Mantra really does know how to make these work in their favour. The scent of Indian Rose is loud and not everyone’s cup of tea but their formulation has blended it so well making this lotion a sensory experience I looks forward to! The formula claims to be infused with the essence of Indian Rose with Gotu Kola, Moringa and Indian Ginseng extracts whipped into a Shea Butter base.

The packaging could be improved on this one! It’s lovely and very expensive looking but it dispenses very little product, one does not want to continuously pump when they are slathering lotion in the shower! The texture of the lotion is light making it easy to spread and absorbs into the skin quickly. It makes the skin feel soft and hydrated for a fairly large duration of time.

This is ideal for normal- combination skin types to use all year round but for the folks with dry to very dry skin type, you might want to use this during the warmer summer months.

Urban Rani Facial Serum

A good serum layers well and this one plays nicely with all kinds of layers!

Price: 1400 INR | Net Content: 25 ml / 0.84 fl oz | Buy Online: Here

I love the name of this one ” Urban Rani” such an ode to the feminine energy! It is claimed to be formulated with plant-based AHAs, Vitamins B3 and C, fruits and vibrant botanicals. It is said to combats signs of skin fatigue while keeping skin dewy, soft and illuminated.

It has a fruity fragrance and is of a lightweight and quick-absorbing nature. The best part is that it layers really well. I make a moisture sandwich (i.e “layering an essence + serum + oil/cream, essentially sandwiching the serum in between two hydrating layers”) using this one and I have had the best results with the finish and feel.

I think this will work great for all skin types – one of those easy yet effective products that everyone can use.

Vedic Elixir 8-in-1 Rejuvenating Facial Oil

Stellar in all aspects!

Price: 1900 INR | Net Content: 20 ml / 0.67 fl oz | Buy Online: Here

I wasn’t big on Face Oil’s but this product changed my thoughts. I have tried face oils in the past but have been miffed due to one or the other reason and was especially hesitant to try this, but am I glad I did!

Formulated with a power packed mix of Hemp Seed, Almond, Sunflower, Grape, Jojoba, Moringa, Sea Buckthorn & Coconut oils, all rich in antioxidants and vitamins known to protect & nourish the skin. The oil is light and smells fabulous. It has a great slip and absorbs into the skin very quickly without feeling heavy or tacky which is a big win for any face oil.

It layers well with other products while keeping the facial skin hydrated and imparts that beautiful healthy glow even in the thick of dry winter months. I have used this in especially cold weather of the Himalayan state of Sikkim during a winter wedding and it has left me nothing but impressed. This will work for all skin types and I cannot recommend this product enough!

Closing Thoughts

Over all Nourish Mantra has impressed me with their products. I have emptied the Serum, Oil, Cleanser and am seeing the last of the Moisturizer and Lotion, this is a testament to how much I like the products because it’s not often I am able to finish something completely. I am definitely going to re-purchase the Face Oil and pray that this formula remains available for a long time.

Please let me know in the comments about your thoughts on Nourish Mantra and if there are other such Brands/Products you would like me to review. Also check out my Instagram for the real-est updates about my skincare & beauty journey.

Not that much good these product , they are just copied the other brands and much expensive so it’s better to purchase those brands product to whom they copied or they are obviously available on less price.
