This one is from Maybellines’s permanent range named Colour Sensational Moisture Extreme. I was on the look out for a Bright Pink shade to match my Fuchsia Saree. When I came across this shade called Coral Pink (CB41) in the Yellow bright light at the mall; I thought this was it! But of course like many lipsticks it wears differently in daylight.

This is the most affordable range that Maybelline offers, which is evident from its basic packaging. The outer plastic is identically orange throughout the range so one needs to rely on a sticker placed at the bottom to understand the shade. The plastic quality isn’t great either but then that’s where they are cutting cost to price it affordably.
This lipstick has a rich and creamy formulation that easily glides on your lips and gives you great color pay-off . The Maybelline Color Sensational Moisture Extreme Lip Color in the shade Coral Pink is a light pink with a hint of orange and a cool undertone to it. It is perfect for folks with fair to medium skin tones who are looking for that bright pop of colour. It will make for a pretty day time colour for the summers. Unfortunately it is such a colour that will not compliment Wheat-ish and duskier skin tones when used as is. It can perhaps be made to work mixed with a darker colour or with a darker lip liner underneath.
The oil content in this lipstick is very high, they have aptly named it as “Moisture Extreme” so it moves over the lips effortlessly while keeping them hydrated due to which they looking full & glossy. The downside of this characteristic is that it quite prone to smudging so one needs to always be careful. Also since it has a higher oil content it will melt in hot climates and therefore break easy. If you belong to such a place I recommend you definitely not carry it in your purse.
The lipstick has a sweet vanilla fragrance which is unnecessary. The formula is such that it doesn’t settle into any fine lines or highlight any dryness which is a very big plus in my opinion because personally I suffer from the greatest case of dry lips.
The saturated color pigment and the creamy texture deposit color on the lips easily without dragging or pulling. In fact it is so smooth that often I have gone out of the edge. The bullet’s sharpness doesn’t last adding to my clumsiness and if you are like me, I recommend using a lip brush for an even application. Because of the great slip, it also moves around on the lips if you go over board. So after one pass, I dab it with my hand or a tissue to seal in the pigment.
It last for a couple of hours but transfers a lot on mugs/ glasses. Definitely not kiss-proof and there is no way it can withstand a meal. So frequent re-application will be required.

Pros:
- Affordable
- Saturated Pigment
- Value for Money Performance
Cons:
- Not a universally flattering shade
- Not travel friendly.
Closing Thoughts:
I am of the opinion that lipsticks are not that makeup product that one needs to splurge on, because I like to have a variety of colors & finishes at my disposal and in that regard this seems like a great buy. Its affordable and the performance is good for the price. If you are interested in getting a bunch of various colors at an affordable price, I would totally recommend this range by the brand.

Absolutely agree!! <3
I love this shade! I use it after lining my lips with the Wet n Wild Chestnut liner and it gives me a perfect nude shade for my NC43 tone.
Hey Pooja, thanks for stopping by. I agree with the right lip liner this might just look great even on 43-onwards skin tones.
