Rose Petal Powder by Mirabela | Review
The kind folks at Mirabela gifted me a couple of their herbal powders. I have never really used herbal powders in my skincare routine so I was excited to try this Rose Petal Powder by Mirabela. Before that I also needed to figure out how to make the best use of it so read on for what I discovered.
Keep Calm Hyaluronic Acid Serum By Foxtail | Review
In the quest for dewy hydrated skin I have tried many products but some of the best have been Hyaluronic Acid based Serums. The Keep Calm – Hyaluronic Acid Serum is Foxtail’s most popular product with some big claims and I was very curious to test it. The brand sent this to me but the thoughts are my own; and like always keeping it plainspoken.
Nourish Mantra: Cosmic Sutra Hair Oil- Review
Hair Oiling is an integral part of Indian Culture; those of us in the sub-continent have grown up with mothers oiling our hair and have experienced the efficacy of the concept for years. Which in essence implies we know the in’s & out’s of our Hair Oil and over the years have learnt the ability to identify a good one. This is one such oil that immediately stood out to me.

Nourish Mantra – a relatively new Indian brand that also retails in the USA (which means their formulations abide by stricter rules as compared to ones that retail in India only). The brand believes in “Slow Beauty” and claims to be on a mission to modernize traditional Indian beauty philosophies making them relevant. The products are claimed to be 100% vegan, cruelty-free and created with ethically sourced ingredients which IMO is wonderful.
Kronokare: Shower Gels | Review
I go really slow with my Shower Gels, I don’t use much at one-go so a standard size bottle lasts me for many months but on the contrary husband dearest goes through them at top speed and I am talking about random super-market stuff which is probably full of harsh ingredients like Sulphates and Triclosan. To help the situation I thought I should explore relatively safer options. So during the Kronokare sale I had to get one for him & one for myself. I chose 500 ml bottles of All is Well and Revive & Thrive but ended up getting sent 10 bottles of 100 ml each! But this way I got to try both.
Kronokare: Moist-Urge Moisturizing Face Cream | Review
I am always on a look out for a good moisturizer for the face. We all know that is no easy feat so I was compelled to try this Moist-Urge Moisturizing Face Cream (That name LOL) especially since the tube size of 15 gram didn’t seem like too much commitment. 😀
Kronokare: Polish the Blemish- Face Scrub | Review
I am not a big supporter of mechanical exfoliation for many reasons. Typically, this form of exfoliation can cause a lot of inflammation within the skin, and micro tears on the epidermis. Often the abrasive beads used by brands are sharp & not eco-friendly. Post making a shift to using products like this for chemical exfoliation I haven’t used a physical scrub since ages but thanks to the sale prices I mentioned in my previous blog post I thought I should give this Polish the Blemish- Face Scrub a shot; not so much for my face but also for my hands & elbow.
LOVEISDERMA: Foaming Cleanser | Review
I was in the market for a new facial cleanser as the last one I was using was on its last breath so I was beyond thrilled to get my hands on this Foaming Cleanser by Loveisderma. You guys know how invested I am in skincare and something that I especially appreciate is finding new brands that make hi-tech skincare products. Loveisderma- A Taiwan based brand engaged in aesthetic medicine, skin care products and pharmaceutical care.
L.A. Girl: Pro Face HD Matte Pressed Powder- Soft Honey | Swatched
I am a big fan of L.A. Girl’s BB Cream. So far I have re-purchased it thrice and the review post of the BB cream has been read over 6000+ times since I published it in September 2016; so clearly a lot of you are interested in the brand as well. I recently had the opportunity to try out the pressed powder from L.A. Girl in shade GPP608- Soft Honey. With the benchmark the brand had set with the BB cream my expectations for this powder were very high.
