About my Hair

I have 2-A hair type. The hair strands are thin, light and fragile. It is flatter at the root and lays close to the scalp, it starts becoming wavy from the ears down. The waves are fine with a loose, tousled texture. There isn’t a lot of volume nor a lot of definition and I run a risk of loosing whatever I have if I end up using a heavy hair styling product. It is long-ish, till the middle of my back and also quite limp over all due to the self-weight of the hair! Please keep in mind these pictures are taken on a relatively good hair day with some product & styling, without which the frizz is far worse!

Post covid I lost a lot of hair and then on I have just continued to lose hair, but I do see new growth which is smaller in length and is so light that gravity has no control on it, ultimately creates a lot of frizz. This frizz if untamed forms a halo around my head and makes people wonder if I am unwell because it does make me look quite frazzled! With that as context I have tried multiple things to tame that frizz and this product was one of them, unfortunately it could do nothing to tame the frizz!

My Experience with Hyaluronic Moisture 72H Hydra Filling Night Cream

In case talking video interests you, check the following Instagram video where I talk about my experience with the Hyaluronic Moisture 72H Hydra Filling Night Cream.

I have been using the L’Oreal Paris Hyaluronic Moisture 72H Hydra Filling Night Cream for a few month.  Unfortunately I am not impressed. Hoping that this cream would help to hydrate my dry & frizzy hair and make it more manageable but it did none of that.

I have used it in multiple ways including as per what the brand instructs i.e “Apply to hair lengths and tips and leave overnight. No need to rinse, no residue and no weigh down the next morning. Washing your hair is optional.”  I have also tried it in various amounts on damp hair, soaking wet hair, dry hair for styling, pre wash and post wash to name a few, all in the hope to make it work for me.

None of these methods have shown any noticeable results in the condition of my hair. I also need to highlight the fact that its extremely fragrant – some people appreciate that but it was very overwhelming for me.

Closing Thoughts on Hyaluronic Moisture 72H Hydra Filling Night Cream:

Overall, I am quite disappointed with the L’Oreal Paris Hyaluronic Moisture 72H Hydra Filling Night Cream. I really wanted it to work because as a concept of a night cream that hydrates hair as you sleep seems quite an attractive prospect but unfortunately it did not work. It does not hydrate my hair, it does not make it manageable, and it has a strong overwhelming scent. It does absolutely nothing and I wont be recommending this to anyone.

Here is s similar leave in cream by Loreal that I have tried in the past and has fared better.  Let me know in the comments your experience with Leave in creams, also find me on Instagram so that we can talk more about Hair, Skin & Beauty.
