This product has a mousse consistency and goes on the lips smooth and sets matte. It is quite pigmented and if one intends to use it on their cheeks; little will go a long way. The shade Burgundy Lush is great Red that will suit the Indian Skin Tone.
It will enhance the lines on chapped lips so one needs to prep their lips beforehand. It dries up the lips so definitely not meant for everyday use. It will transfer on coffee mugs and fades from the center of the lips in a few hours, more so after a meal. After which it will demand touch-up and re-application goes on patchy due to the existing product below.
It retails for 600 INR for 9 grams of product, but now since its been a while after its launch you can find it for 450-500 INR with discounts and offers. It is available online here. Lakme offers some good shades that will suit Indian skin in this range.

I have this in. Cocoa Soft..
Oh yeah the brown, I have tried it too! Pretty decent offering from an otherwise quite dull Lakme.. no ?
Yes. But Lakme does come up with decent stuff once in a while.
True, but I just cant get over the fact that a brand that arrived first on scene even before Indian economy opend its gates to foreign players, and yet has not been able to cater to women with darker skin. Such a shameful fact !!!
Absolutely true, Lakme, colorbar all these brands are color-ist. Sugar is more inclusive, and they also market like crazy, hence the immense popularity
Love the formula
