I have been trying to make informed purchase decisions for which reading labels and researching the contents of the label is an integral step. Lately I see many moisturizers & serums claiming to have Hyaluronic Acid (HA) as the star ingredient. In Beauty & Skin care world buzz word ingredients are nothing new so I thought I should understand what the noise around Hyaluronic Acid is all about.

Decoding the Buzz around Hyaluronic Acid
In my opinion Nykaa is doing a great job at getting us access to global brands and the amount of buzz the Korean Beauty Brands have created in the western beauty industry that its high time we also look east.

Innisfree is a Korean Brand that enterd the Indian Market sometime back, and I say about time we get acess to global brands. Korean skincare and makeup is world renowned for the use of unique ingredients and their claimed effectiveness. I had been wanting to try Korean stuff since a while so when Nykaa made it availaible online I though these need to be given a shot. I tried their Sheet Masks in Rose & Cucumber and the Jeju Volcanic Scoria from the Capsule Recipie Pack Collection.

To be honest I am not a mask person, I don’t have the time or inclination to mask at all! Mostly because I have a serious doubt about their effectiveness and nobody wants to answer the door with green goop on their faces! So selecting one then buying it and using it often to come up with a review, was beyond just tasking for me.

UV rays harm skin – period! You have heard that from your Beauty Parlour lady, Times of India, your Dermatologist and your Mom. Direct sun exposure puts people at higher risk of cancer—but there’s also a numerous other ways the sun messes your skin. Sunscreen is a medium to protect one self from this. However many myths surround sunscreen, I am almost always confused what amongst all this needs to be believed. So I did some research and quizzed my dermatologist about it. Summer is almost here, so here is an effort to separate the sunscreen facts from the fiction.
Yes, you read it right! To kill the suspense I will tell you right away, it works, and works like magic!

Lately I have been cultivating the habit of reading ingredient lists on products and getting more and more anxious everyday about their harmful chemical contents. Silicones, Sulphates, Parabens are common ingredients, just to name a few and all are highly notorious for their ill effects. A lot of people have been asking for natural and cruelty free recommendations so I was quite happy to come across Juicy Chemistry.

I am the biggest fan of Bioderma Sensibio H2O, it has changed my perspective towards wearing makeup and more importantly removing makeup. So with that for background, I was over the moon when I won a Bioderma USA’s (very generous) Instagram Giveaway. In that I recieved two bottles of the treatment moisturisers from the Hydrabio range, the Hydrabio Légère (Normal to combination dehydrated sensitive skin) & Hydrabio Riche for (Dry and very dry dehydrated sensitive skin) and Hydrabio H2O miceller solution. I have been using the Hydrabio Légère since and I am impressed.

I have been using Bio Oil since September 2016 and have gone through 3/4th of the bottle yet I am not sure if I should review it already, so I am calling this post a “Thoughts & First Impression”. Also I see a lot of folks going through many bottles and claiming miraculous results so I have decided to wait for the miracle. (That is not sarcasm- I just felt the need to clarify!)
