This version of the the Black Opium launched in 2014 is a Rock and Roll inspired interpretation of the original YSL Opium that came into being in the year 1977. This is often done by brands to continue to ride on the fame of a classic while capturing the audience of modern times.

I admit Tidal has its fair share of hype surrounding it and the steep price is also something that needs to be thought about. I won this product in a giveaway and to be absolutely honest if I were to buy this I would have expected the moon and stars at that price point. Getting it not as a part of PR and without spending the money has perhaps helped me look at it it from a new and more objective standpoint.

I go really slow with my Shower Gels, I don’t use much at one-go so a standard size bottle lasts me for many months but on the contrary husband dearest goes through them at top speed and I am talking about random super-market stuff which is probably full of harsh ingredients like Sulphates and Triclosan. To help the situation I thought I should explore relatively safer options. So during the Kronokare sale I had to get one for him & one for myself. I chose 500 ml bottles of All is Well and Revive & Thrive but ended up getting sent 10 bottles of 100 ml each! But this way I got to try both.
