Jo Malone is a British Brand, now under the Estee Lauder umbrella. I have always been a fan of their aesthetics, minimal presentation & philosophy behind designing a fragrance. It has been over a year since they launched in India and I have since tried three of their fragrances. In this post I am talking about Myrrh & Tonka Cologne Intense. It is an oriental scent composed by Mathilde Bijaoui. The brand describes it as “a nomad song of sand and smoke-threaded twilight” which paints the image of a fragrance thats mysterious and nuanced.

SoulTree: Lotus & Kokum Butter Lip Balm | Review
Since forever I have been trying to find a lip balm that works for me! I am that special kind of unlucky who have chapped lips all year round and thus have tried lip balms from various brands and many-many home remedies. So far not much luck! But the quest continues and this time I tried the Lotus & Kokum Butter Lip Balm from SoulTree.
Kronokare: Shower Gels | Review
I go really slow with my Shower Gels, I don’t use much at one-go so a standard size bottle lasts me for many months but on the contrary husband dearest goes through them at top speed and I am talking about random super-market stuff which is probably full of harsh ingredients like Sulphates and Triclosan. To help the situation I thought I should explore relatively safer options. So during the Kronokare sale I had to get one for him & one for myself. I chose 500 ml bottles of All is Well and Revive & Thrive but ended up getting sent 10 bottles of 100 ml each! But this way I got to try both.
Kronokare: Moist-Urge Moisturizing Face Cream | Review
I am always on a look out for a good moisturizer for the face. We all know that is no easy feat so I was compelled to try this Moist-Urge Moisturizing Face Cream (That name LOL) especially since the tube size of 15 gram didn’t seem like too much commitment. 😀
Kronokare: Polish the Blemish- Face Scrub | Review
I am not a big supporter of mechanical exfoliation for many reasons. Typically, this form of exfoliation can cause a lot of inflammation within the skin, and micro tears on the epidermis. Often the abrasive beads used by brands are sharp & not eco-friendly. Post making a shift to using products like this for chemical exfoliation I haven’t used a physical scrub since ages but thanks to the sale prices I mentioned in my previous blog post I thought I should give this Polish the Blemish- Face Scrub a shot; not so much for my face but also for my hands & elbow.

Loveiderma: UV Clear SPF 50 Sunscreen| Review
I am a self-proclaimed Sunscreen fanatic! I jumped on the bandwagon late but now that I am on it I am very vocal about getting more people on board. If you are new to the sunscreen concept I strongly urge you to check out this post about some Sunscreen Facts and Fictions.
Giovanni: Smooth as Silk Deeper Moisture Conditioner | Review
Hanging out with your girlfriends with curly hair has many advantages. These ladies are already quite overwhelmed taking care of their tresses so in comparison one always ends up feeling better about their hair! Just kidding! Curly hair care is a whole new category in the greater hair-care industry. I got introduced to it via Ms. Super Consumer and on one such knowledge exchange sessions I found out about the brand Giovanni!
The Ordinary: Natural Moisturizing Factors + HA | Review
After sitting on it for ages I am finally publishing one of the most requested reviews of The Natural Moisturizing Factors+ HA (which stands for Hyaluronic Acid, listed as sodium hyaluronate on the ingredient list) by The Ordinary. The brand calls it their “Surface Hydration Formula”
Satliva: Hemp with Avocado Handmade Body Soap | Review
The kind folks at Glamrada sent me a bunch of products to try from a new Indie Brand – Satliva. I am a great supporter of home-grown independent brands so I was happy to learn about Satliva and try out some of their offerings. One of the first thing that caught my interest was the soap bar mostly because of its beautiful packaging!
