Dry Shampoo Review | Batiste vs. BBlunt

All of us have those days where lack of sleep and exhaustion causes a panic situation when we have overslept and are running beyond just late! By the grace of Murphy’s Laws, on this particular day your hair will decide to rebel. Dry shampoos are a boon on such days.

Juicy Chemistry: Red Raspberry Seed & Spearmint Day Cream | Review

Lately I have been cultivating the habit of reading ingredient lists on products and getting more and more anxious everyday about their harmful chemical contents. Silicones, Sulphates, Parabens are common ingredients, just to name a few and all are highly notorious for their ill effects. A lot of people have been asking for natural and cruelty free recommendations so I was quite happy to come across Juicy Chemistry.

Bioderma: Hydrabio Légère| Review

I am the biggest fan of Bioderma Sensibio H2O, it has changed my perspective towards wearing makeup and more importantly removing makeup. So with that for background, I was over the moon when I won a Bioderma USA’s (very generous) Instagram Giveaway. In that I recieved two bottles of the treatment moisturisers from the Hydrabio range, the Hydrabio Légère (Normal to combination dehydrated sensitive skin) & Hydrabio Riche for (Dry and very dry dehydrated sensitive skin) and Hydrabio H2O miceller solution. I have been using the Hydrabio Légère since and I am impressed.

OGX: Renewing Argan Oil of Morocco – Intense Moisturising Treatment | Product Review

I was in the market for a new conditioner and seeing Ms.Super Consumer finishing product after product from the Organix (OGX) brand with an unwavering loyalty, I thought I should also try something from their inventory so I decided to go for the Renewing Argan Oil of Morocco – Intense Moisturising Treatment.

Daiso | Beauty Haul

This word “Daiso” brings such immense happiness to me, perhaps because it helps fuel my endless consumerism! For those of you who are not aware, Daiso is a Japanese 100 Yen store (100 Yen = 60 INR approx), kind of like an american dollar store; with an endless variety of goods at very -very economical costs. My first Daiso Experience was at Singapore at the Vivocity Mall and I wanted to buy the whole store! I had purchased a mix of stationary, home goods and candy then. Its been a while since I have been using that stuff and I have realised in spite of being exceptionally economical they are of great quality. So a few months back my (very accommodating) friend Nidhi, author of Motoholic Works (check out her blog for some amazing motorcycle artwork) was travelling to India from Japan and asked me whether I wanted some stuff from Japan. Obviously I did and I gave her a gigantic – overwhelmingly long list of Diaso products and she got it all!

Urban Ladder- Review & Purchase Experience

Urban Ladder is a popular Furniture E-store in India and they have been around for a while now. They have a very nicely done webpage, by that I mean very few dead links and well-organized content. The products look great too and I have spent a lot of time + data packs browsing through their wares adding stuff to wish list but never mustering enough courage to spend that much money on furniture without actually seeing it. But then around December 2016 they had the “Honestly Good Sale” where the prices were slashed up to 50% so I thought this opportunity was too good to be passed. (Obviously, my consumerism knows no bounds!) I wanted a table lamp so I decided to buy the “Hedwig Table Lamp”.

This is how it is presented on the website:

Patanjali Dant Kanti Toothpaste – worth all the noise its making?

Today I am reviewing the very popular Patanjali Dant Kanti Toothpaste. Yeah.. yeah, its associated with Ramdev Baba and the humdrum around his FMCG Brand- Patanjali. Amidst all the noise with linked keywords like Propaganda, Yoga, Marketing gimmick, Ayurveda, Politics, Nepotism etc etc one cannot deny the fact that Patanjali rose to a Rs. 5,000-crore company in less than a decade, due to which other MNCs have been forced to shift focus on Ayurveda too. I have also mentioned this in the Ultra Blends post here. Hypothetically even if the associated keywords are true, the renewed interest in natural ingredients is a definite good thing! To be honest I would have never tried Dant Kanti but my Dentist recommended it!

Romance Scam

Internet savvy people are well aware of the online Nigerian scams. They are of various kinds, the 419 scam, where they offer to transfer a lot of money into your bank account, or the lottery scam, where they tell you that you’ve won something in some phony lottery etc. But in a dating scam (also known as romance scam), besides just asking for money the scammers build a bogus persona complete with an attractive image to trap unsuspecting victims.

Shalocks Hair Oil – an unexpected winner!

I have never been a fan of oiling my hair. For a large part of my life I went without ever oiling my hair, which gradually had its repercussion and so began the quest of finding an oil that was more than just a colossal pain to wash off. I came across this one only by chance when the shopkeeper of a very busy wholesale beauty supply store pushed it on me. I almost didn’t buy it because of its price but my doting Ma bought it for me. Perhaps she thought maybe this will get her daughter to oil her hair, and it definitely did!
