The kind folks at Glamrada sent me a bunch of products to try from a new Indie Brand – Satliva. I am a great supporter of home-grown independent brands so I was happy to learn about Satliva and try out some of their offerings. One of the first thing that caught my interest was the soap bar mostly because of its beautiful packaging!

To be absolutely honest Mascaras confuse me! There is a ginormous number of options available these days each holding a promise to give one the lashes of their dreams. There are the high-end cult favorites and the ones that have been around historically. I am generally tempted to play around within that safe zone but this time I wanted to try out something new – something drugstore – something that promises to make my lashes look “fan”tastic so after some research (because well, Ms.P cannot NOT research!) As I mentioned in some of my previous posts I am always on the look out for affordable alternatives of the high-end products and another such attempt was made here. In theory the Fit ME range by Maybelline makes great sense but as usual India Market did not get the full shade-range, which was quite disappointing. Out of the one’s available I was able to try the Shade 330 Toffee Caramel.

This one is from Maybellines’s permanent range named Colour Sensational Moisture Extreme. I was on the look out for a Bright Pink shade to match my Fuchsia Saree. When I came across this shade called Coral Pink (CB41) in the Yellow bright light at the mall; I thought this was it! But of course like many lipsticks it wears differently in daylight.

I am a big fan of L.A. Girl’s BB Cream. So far I have re-purchased it thrice and the review post of the BB cream has been read over 6000+ times since I published it in September 2016; so clearly a lot of you are interested in the brand as well. I recently had the opportunity to try out the pressed powder from L.A. Girl in shade GPP608- Soft Honey. With the benchmark the brand had set with the BB cream my expectations for this powder were very high.
